The Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method of Learning, IIMA, is organizing a 2-Day Open Programme designed exclusively for doctoral students in management and related disciplines who are close to graduation.
The programme introduces participants to the participant-centered case method of teaching and learning. It includes a live case class demonstration and provides an overview of case writing, encouraging doctoral students to adopt this pedagogy in their academic careers.
The major objective of the programme is to enable doctoral students across management disciplines to understand and explore the case pedagogy. This program is focused on case teaching and not on case research. It would be helpful for doctoral students who would use the case method in the future in their classes when they join an academic institution as a faculty member.
1. Module 1: The Case Class
2. Module 2: Writing the Case
This programme is designed for doctoral students in management and allied disciplines who are likely to graduate within the next one year and must be nominated by their institutions/universities. The ideal participant is one who is enthusiastic about participant-centered learning and willing to explore this pedagogy.
