As India’s economy rapidly expands, so does the demand for sophisticated wealth management strategies. With a growing number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors, wealth management has become a cornerstone of the Indian financial services sector. This Executive Education Programme is tailored specifically for Indian markets, drawing insights from global trends. The programme addresses the unique challenges faced by family offices, high net worth individuals (HNIs) and institutional investors in preserving and growing wealth amidst the evolving financial landscape.


Designed for fund managers, wealth advisors, and family office executives, this programme delves into cutting- edge strategies for wealth preservation, asset allocation, and portfolio management providing them with actionable insights and a competitive edge in India’s dynamic financial landscape.

The main objective of this programme is to bring together experienced and young professionals as well as family office personnel involved in private wealth management, single/multiple family office asset management and sovereign wealth funds and provide them with:

Pedagogy

Faculty Chair
Prof. Vineet Virmani received his doctorate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad with a specialization in Economics. He obtained his engineering degree from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. 

 

After finishing his doctorate Prof. Virmani was a post-doctoral fellow first at the Indian School of Business, and then at IIMA before leaving for industry.

 

Before coming back to IIMA, Prof Virmani was with Nomura/Lehman Services, Mumbai where he worked with the model validation team for almost four years as a 'risk quant'. At Nomura/Lehman his work involved testing models for pricing equity derivatives. He also briefly worked with erstwhile Bank of America, Mumbai in an asset management role, and prior to that at Dell, Bangalore as an econometrician.

 

Prof. Virmani's interests are primarily applied, with majority of his work being in the area of mathematical finance and monetary economics.

Prof. Vineet Virmani

Ellapulli Vasudevan is currently part of the Finance and Accounting faculty group at IIMA. Before joining IIMA, Dr. Vasudevan was Assistant Professor of Finance at ESCP Business School, Paris. He holds a Ph.D. from Aalto Business School in Finland. Dr. Vasudevan's research interests are in behavioral finance, focusing on retail investor behavior. He also studies labor implications of policies in the financial sector. Dr. Vasudevan has delivered research seminars at some leading European business schools, such as ESCP Paris, Manchester Business School, and SSE Stockholm, and leading Indian schools, such as IIMA, IIMB, and ISB Hyderabad. He has attended, given, and discussed research at international conferences such as European Retail Investor Conference, World Finance Conference, Centre for European Policy Research conference, etc. His research is cited by some of the leading financial media, including FT, Bloomberg, and the NY Times. Before his doctorate, Dr. Vasudevan did PGDM from IIM Indore and B-Tech from IIT Roorkee. He has taught topics related to financial markets and advanced topics in investment management.
