This programme is designed on the premise that an understanding of the "Self" will lead to a more effective management of oneself and one's interaction in the various roles one may take up in Organizations and other settings.

In addition to a discussion of various frameworks through which participants can examine themselves, the programme also offers opportunities to examine and clarify one's styles, needs, and assumptions through participation in experiential exercises, case discussions, role plays, and administration of psychometric questionnaires. These exercises offer participants a scope to gain insights into themselves and to give and receive feedback from fellow participants.

Along with exploring intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics, the programme also helps participants understand the ways to manage disruptive behaviours that could adversely affect their personal effectiveness, team membership, and growth into leadership positions.

Technical and analytical skills alone do not lead to superior performance. The core objective of the programme is to help participants develop deeper insights and understanding of themselves and their interaction with others in the work environment.

The programme design aims to enable participants to help examine and manage ‘Self’ in organisations, and what it means for personal transformation as well as professional success and growth. This learning process is designed to help participants develop a better understanding of their selves and thereby move towards greater personal development and fulfilment in their careers.

The primary objectives of the programme are to facilitate exploration and understanding of:

  • Personality traits, perceptions, and attitudes impacting personal effectiveness
  • Needs and motivations underlying behaviours and actions that can enable or hinder success on career paths
  • Impact of “others” on personal working
  • Personal challenges which can derail leaders and paths to overcome the same
  • Building emotional intelligence
  • Reframing one’s awareness and understanding to facilitate transformation
  • Strengths, areas of improvement, and coping strategies
  • Working towards becoming the person one wants to be
  • Intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics
  • Aligning self with roles
  • Managing career aspirations
  • Negotiating for career growth
  • Networking for success
  • Self and groups
  • Self and leadership
  • Professionalism

The learning process will be facilitated through a combination of pedagogical tools and approaches, including experiential exercises, cases, psychometric inventories, role-plays, and group discussions.
