The programme is designed for mid-level and senior executives who have had very little exposure to the Finance function, but who are likely to assume P&L responsibility in the near future. It is also for those managers who think that their role requires significant commercial acumen for effective performance and have not been formally trained in basics of finance and accounting. The programme will cover various topics in the field of Financial Accounting, Management Control Systems, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance taking a top-down perspective. The programme will also has a strategic management module to provide broader perspective on the business context and commercial negotiations to build commercial skills.

Frequency: Twice a week
Class Schedule: Every Friday and Sunday - 6:30 pm - 9.30 pm
Delivery: Through Classes at Jaro Education, using synchronous Learning Technology platform. In addition, the in-campus module with two days each will be held twice (subject to government regulations). It is mandatory for all the participants to attend it.
Evaluation by: IIM Ahmedabad
Certification: IIM Ahmedabad will provide Certificate of Participation (COP) based on the attendance criteria.
The programme introduces the mid-level senior executives to the technicalities of the finance functions at length. The teaching approach will be highly interactive using the technological capabilities of the channel. The pedagogy followed for the programme will consist of a blend of lectures, case studies, online lectures, projects, peer-to-peer learning, self-learning, role play and simulations. Mentoring by faculty and access to learning resources of IIMA will be also be made available. There will be two campus immersions held at IIMA (subject to government regulations).
